Why take an MITT course

Graduates of the 120-hour MITT course earn a teaching certificate in the language they intend to teach such as TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) or TCFL (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language). These certifications qualify you to teach anywhere in the world, or even online from home!

Beyond certifictions, we will give you the skills and tools necessary to enter the classroom with confidence, and deliver effective lessons from the start. The MITT course blends educational theory with practical skills. From day one, you will learn what it takes to teach languages to children, teenagers or adults with a wide range of objectives. All of this within 120 hours!

How the Course is Structured

Our in-person course takes place in beautiful Bangkok, Thailand. We have a dedicated training facility for all MITT students where you will learn with industry experts and professionals. We can even support with accommodation, if needed!

  • The course lasts 4 weeks, with classes daily from Monday – Friday. We start the day at 09:00 and finish the session at around 16:00.
  • Sessions cover a combination of theoretical learning, as well as practical skills.
  • Each day, students will complete a short self-reflection on what they’ve learned.
  • There are regular written assignments, graded by one of our trainers.
  • Students will have the chance to teach actual learners, with observations and feedback from expert teachers.

The full course 120-hour online course costs $1299.99 as standard, though we often have special sales and promotions to keep your eyes open for! This fee covers all course content, including a study pack, sample lesson plans, and other great teaching resources.

The MITT 120-hour Bangkok Course focuses on delivering new language teachers both theoretical and practical knowledge. We aim to give you what you need to know to be a functional teacher from your first day in the classroom. For full course content, please refer to the course outline.

While many learners prefer to secure their own accommodation, the MITT has options available and can offer support.

Yes! All graduates of 120-hour Bangkok MITT course will receive a certifacte aligning with their language. That means TEFL certificates for English teachers, or TCFL certificates for Chinese teachers etc.

A holder of a TEFL or TCFL certificate is a fully qualified and certified language teacher according to most Education Ministries. For full details of required documentation, please refer to the local government requirements of the country you would like to work in.

We do not guarantee a job, but we do guarantee we will give you advice and guidance on the best way to acquire one.

We do offer positions to some graduates, however (Modulo teaches English, Chinese, French, Thai, Japanese and Korean)
